army chief reaches out to UAE to dscuss imf program

 The Saudi Arabian and UAE governments have been called by Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to Geo News, Saudi Arabian and UAE government representatives and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa spoke on the IMF scheme.

According to sources, Pakistan is soon expecting to receive good news as a result of the Army Chief's message.

The Army Chief also got in touch with the US Deputy Secretary of State a few days ago.

It should be mentioned that a few days earlier, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa contacted the US Deputy Secretary of State and asked for pressure to be applied to the IMF for an immediate loan.

In a previous statement, Esther Pires Reese, the IMF's representative in Pakistan, said that Pakistan has increased the Petroleum Development Levy in order to satisfy the requirements for the joint assessment (PDL).
